La Arkeia, leader mondiale nei software professionali di backup, ha annunciato oggi un plug-in per i server Microsoft Exchange. Le aziende che utilizzano Exchange adeso potranno gestire grossi volumi di mail con i sistemi di archiviazione di Arkeia. Il modulo di Arkeia per Exchange è progettato per garantire diversi livelli di sicurezza per i dati aziendali, con veloci restore in caso di failover del sistema.
Tutti gli aspetti dei dati di posta: mail, note, allegati sono protetti da questo sistema.
Ecco le caratteristiche del plug in:
- Uses native Exchange Server Backup API following strict Microsoft backup formats to insure precise integration.
- Backup types include Full, Incremental, Differential or Copy.
- Capability for four parallel backups optimizing the backup speed for large servers with storage groups on different hard-drives.
- Online backup and restore to database level.
- Consistency checks during full and copy backups to insure accuracy on the fly.
- Page zeroing security factor that erases all data from deleted e-mail.
- Support of Site Replication Service that insures compatibility between MS-Exchange 5.5 and 2000 servers.
- Backup of Key Management Server, allowing restoration of encrypted data.
- Equally efficient restore options include point in time recovery of stored data and last backup restore with transaction log "replay".
Arkeia permette anche l'hot backup dei registri, delle active directories, dei certificati e dei log.
Una versione demo del plug-in per MS-Exchange, compatibile con Exchange 2000 e 2003, sarà disponibilie da Ottobre.
